The video quickly garnered a mix of reactions from social media users. Some criticized the use of fire department resources for retrieving a personal item, calling it a misuse of public funds. “Seriously!! You want the fire department to search for a stupid phone that you lost because of your carelessness!” commented one user. Another echoed the sentiment, stating, “Such a waste of our tax money!”
However, others found the incident humorous, with many responding with laughing emojis and light-hearted comments. One user summed up the mixed feelings by saying, “So no one to rescue people, but the whole fire department to get a phone. I realise that the resort has connections, but damn. Don’t know if I should laugh or cry.”
This unusual incident has certainly sparked a lively debate online, highlighting both the lengths people will go to recover their valuable belongings and the unexpected ways public services can sometimes be utilized.
