Russian authorities have also accused Ukraine of launching airstrikes on residential buildings in Bryansk and wounding seven people. Authorities in another border region of Russia also reported Ukrainian shelling Thursday.

The Russian Defence Ministry quoted that the damage was caused due to ammunition detonating ‘as a result of fire’. The crew of the ship have reportedly been evacuated but the ship suffered serious damage.

Ukrainian President, in his early address to the nation on Wednesday morning, had said that he proposes to the Russian Federation: exchange this guy of yours for our guys and girls now held in Russian captivity.

The railway authority of Ukraine confirmed the report, claiming that the station was being used for evacuating civilians fleeing the war.

Ukraine accused Russia of a “deliberate massacre” in the town of Bucha, 30 kilometer (19 miles) north-west of the capital city of Kyiv. Bucha Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk told the media on Saturday that 280 bodies were buried in mass graves.

The White House had earlier said that India taking up Russia’s offer of discounted crude oil would not be a violation of American sanctions. When asked about a report on the possibility that India could take up the Russian offer of discounted crude oil, Psaki said, “I don’t believe this would be violating that (sanctions).”
