Depleted uranium is a byproduct of the uranium enrichment process needed to create nuclear weapons. The rounds retain some radioactive properties, but they can’t generate a nuclear reaction like a nuclear weapon would.

The Ukrainian army also deployed wooden fake HIMARS last year. The fake targets are not only a good distraction, they are also a lot cheaper than the Russian missiles that cost tens of thousands of euros and are thus wasted on the fake targets.

In a rare show of support with Ukraine on 111th day of Russian invasion, top leaders of France, Germany, Italy and Romania had on Thursday reached the capital city Kyiv.

All four leaders criticised Russian action in Ukraine and vows to extend their support to the war-affected country.
