The revenues for the month of September this year are 26 per cent higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year.

There has been a remarkable increase in the speed of processing of income tax returns filed during the current fiscal, with almost 93 per cent of the duly verified ITRs having been processed till Saturday, said a statement.

The tax policy brings in consistency and uniformity in different approaches hitherto being adopted by the erstwhile three Municipal Corporations.
