The opposition party said that the policy was introduced in the city to aide corruption and lead to misusing of funds.

On Wednesday, the LG House had said to take legal action against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader for levelling corruption charges against VK Saxena.

The event was memorable as majority of corporation employees including doctors and other medical staffs ensured their active participation beyond the duty hours.

According to the reports, around 15 people were injured after getting under the debris of the under-construction building. It was a 5,000-square-yard godown whose wall collapsed.

Delhi Police had arrested Mohammad Zubair of AltNews for charges of hurting religious sentiments and promoting enmity among people. He was arrested by police under sections 153/295 of the IPC.

As per the report, law enforcement agency had asked to join investigation against him under sections 153/295. Police said that it had sufficient evidence against him hence arrest was made during the course of investigation.

Insisting that the aim should be to ensure minimum human interface in the delivery of its services, the Delhi LG said that this will while ensuring effective and timely delivery also cut red-tape, minimize inconvenience and harassment of common people and curtail inefficiency and corruption at all levels.

Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta said it is second term of Kejriwal government and in his first tenure there were hundreds of corruption cases as well and now in the current term there has not been a department which has remained untouched from corruption.

The LG asked the officials to develop a dedicated herbal garden on the lines of ‘Arogya Van’ and various other gardens developed at the Statue of Unity at Kevadia in Gujarat that houses thousands of ornamental flowers and a variety of rare and exquisite medicinal herbs.
