After almost two years of Covid surge, Maharashtra and the West Bengal governments, on March 31, had decided to remove pandemic-related restrictions from the state.

Experts have said that the increase in the number of patients in the recent past does not suggest the onset of a new wave, but people should follow Covid appropriate behaviour to contain further spread of the virus.
