In a shocking development in the ongoing murder case against Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, disturbing photos allegedly showing the victim, Renukaswamy, being tortured before his death have surfaced. The photos emerged just one day after the Karnataka Police submitted a 3,991-page chargesheet in the case, detailing the brutal nature of the crime.

According to a report by a news agency, one of the photos shows Renukaswamy, shirtless and in tears, sitting on the ground in front of parked trucks. Another image depicts him unconscious, dressed in a vest and blue jeans, lying near a truck. These photos were reportedly found on the phone of Darshan’s aide, Pavan, and have been collected as evidence by the police.

Torture Photos Linked to Darshan’s Aide

Sources within the police department suggest that Pavan, who is also an accused in the case, took the photos after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting Renukaswamy. Pavan reportedly kept Renukaswamy in a shed before heading to a club where Darshan was partying with friends. Pavan showed Darshan the photos, and according to sources quoted by the news agency, Darshan then went to actor Pavithra Gowda’s home, brought her to the shed, and continued the assault on Renukaswamy.

The Karnataka Police’s chargesheet provides chilling details of the alleged torture inflicted upon Renukaswamy before his death. The document claims that Darshan and his associates repeatedly assaulted the victim, breaking his chest bones and leaving a total of 39 injury marks on his body. A deep cut on his head was also noted.

The chargesheet further alleges that an electrical device was used to deliver shocks to Renukaswamy’s private parts, intended to revive him when he passed out from pain during the assault.

Evidence Tampering and Framing Attempts

The chargesheet also claims that after Renukaswamy’s murder, Darshan and his co-accused attempted to dispose of the body and destroy evidence, using their influence and money. Additionally, they allegedly tried to frame other individuals in an effort to avoid charges.

Darshan, along with 17 others, including fellow actor Pavithra Gowda, is currently in judicial custody in connection with Renukaswamy’s murder. The victim, a 33-year-old fan of Darshan, had allegedly sent obscene messages to Pavithra Gowda, which reportedly led to his kidnapping and assault. His body was discovered on June 9 near a stormwater drain in Bengaluru’s Sumanahalli.

As the investigation continues, the court will be reviewing the chargesheet and evidence collected by the police. The case has drawn significant attention due to Darshan’s celebrity status, and further legal developments are expected in the coming weeks.
