The Day 4 of the Parliament Winter Session began with a significant moment as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took her oath as the Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) from Kerala’s Wayanad constituency. Priyanka, who secured a resounding victory in the recent bypolls with 6.22 lakh votes, was accompanied by her mother, Sonia Gandhi, and brother, Rahul Gandhi, at the ceremony.
The session also includes the tabling of a motion by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to extend the deadline for its report on the Waqf Bill. Initially set for November 29, the committee now seeks more time to complete its scrutiny.
