The BJP has released its second list of candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, adding 21 names to the initial 67 candidates.

Notably, Captain Yogesh Bairagi has been fielded to contest against Olympian Vinesh Phogat, who is running on a Congress ticket from Julana. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is contesting from the Ladwa seat, having previously served as an MP for Kurukshetra.

Other prominent figures include Om Prakash Dhankar from Badli and veteran leader Anil Vij from Ambala Cantt.

Several recent party switchers have been rewarded with tickets, including Devender Singh Babli from Tohana and Shruti Choudhry from Tosham. Aarti Singh Rao, daughter of Rao Inderjit Singh, has been fielded from Ateli.

With elections set for October 5 and vote counting on October 8, the BJP is seeking a third consecutive victory but faces strong competition from a revitalized Congress.
