Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently delighted fans with an exciting announcement on X (formerly Twitter) about his latest project. The actor revealed that he will be sharing the screen once again with his son, Abhishek Bachchan.
To unveil this news, Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture from a recording studio, showing the father-son duo seated in front of microphones, engaged in what appeared to be a dubbing session. Accompanying the photo, he added a poetic caption: “Pita putr dono bethe ek jagah hi kaam pe. Jald aave parde par jodi inke adhbhut kaam ke.” [Father and son both sit together for work. Soon the duo will appear on screen, showcasing their marvelous work.]

The Bachchans have previously collaborated on several films, including “Bunty Aur Babli,” “Sarkar,” “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,” “Sarkar Raj,” and “Paa.”
Amitabh Bachchan also shared more photos from the dubbing session on his blog on Tumblr, expressing his enthusiasm about working with Abhishek. He wrote, “Running again to work… late… but the absolute joy of working together with Abhishek… many more may they follow… with prayer and hope.”
Amitabh Bachchan consistently celebrates Abhishek’s achievements. Recently, he marked the 20th anniversary of Abhishek’s film “Yuva” by sharing a throwback moment on Instagram.

The photo showed the father and son holding an award together. In the caption, Amitabh Bachchan reminisced, “When Abhishek won the Award for Yuva… when his name was announced he took me to the stage and gave the Award to me… I said ye mera nahi tumhara hai, aur jo mera vo tumhara.. [This is mine, not yours, and what is mine is yours.] Today celebrating 20 years of its release!!! What a film and what a performance Bhaiyu… you are the best.”
“Yuva,” directed by Mani Ratnam and released in 2004, featured an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Vivek Oberoi.
Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in “Ghoomer” alongside Saiyami Kher. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming project “Kalki 2898 AD” is set to be released on June 27, featuring Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan in key roles, directed by Nag Ashwin.
